I am the author of Cats Are Sluts and Hooves, Horns and Roses: Eight Erotic Stories. My short fiction, poetry, and nonfiction essays have appeared in The Rio Review, Feminine Inquiry, Musings of a #LonelyFeminist, Gingerbread House Literary Magazine, Hothouse, Corvid Queen, Crown & Pen, The Elephant Ladder, Mookeychick, Coffeetable Coven, Freque Magazine, wind-up mice journal, Death Wish Poetry, and Belladonna’s Garden, as well as the anthologies The Medusa Project (2020) and Bi All Accounts (2025), where I also served on the editorial board. A collection of my original poems was incorporated into the Austin Community College Department of Dance’s summer informance in 2014.
In 2020, I co-founded Crown & Pen, an independent e-zine for creative works in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and served as one of two editors until 2022. I have served as an editor for four literary magazines, including Borderlands: Texas Poetry Review and the anthology Into the Deep, Dark Woods (2026) from WordFire Press.
I’m an eighth-generation Texan who, according to literally everyone, lacks an accent. I hold an Associate of Arts in Creative Writing from Austin Community College and a BA in English from the University of Texas at Austin. I am a proud alumna of the Texas Tau chapter of Gamma Rho Lambda National Sorority. I graduated from Western Colorado University with a Master of Arts in Publishing in 2026.
When I’m not doing bookish things, you can find me playing music (I play bass guitar and the electric keyboard, and I just started learning cello!) collecting tattoos, making needle crafts, baking curious concoctions, geeking out over horror movies, browsing indie bookstores, tending my little witchy garden, attending the occasional anime or horror convention, and spending time with my partner, three highly opinionated rescue cats, and Bourke parakeet who fill my life with mischief and joy.
