A Little About Me:
I’m a lifelong, multi-generational Texan, although according to literally everyone I’ve ever met, you would never guess due to my lack of an accent. I hold an AA in Creative Writing from Austin Community College and a BA in English from the University of Texas at Austin. I have served as an editor for three literary magazines, facilitated in-person and virtual writing workshops for teens and adults, and was a regular contributor at HealthyPlace Mental Health for two years. In 2020 I co-founded Crown & Pen, an independent e-zine for creative works in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and served as one of two editors until 2022.
My short fiction, poetry, and essays have appeared in The Rio Review, Feminine Inquiry, Musings of a #LonelyFeminist, Gingerbread House Literary Magazine, Hothouse, Corvid Queen, Crown & Pen, The Elephant Ladder, Mookeychick, Coffeetable Coven, Freque Magazine, and wind-up mice journal, as well as the feminist anthology The Medusa Project. My first full-length book, Hooves, Horns and Roses: Eight Erotic Stories, was published in July 2024.
When I'm not writing, I can be found playing bass guitar (I’m a beginner!), needle crafts, baking, learning too many languages on Duolingo, browsing book and comic stores, taking care of my little patio witch garden, and attending the occasional anime or horror convention. I also have three highly opinionated rescue cats and a Bourke parakeet who fill my life with mischief and joy.
